A day in the theme of love when our Crown Princess Victoria married Mr Daniel Westling. Estimated 500,000 people watched the procession passing through the streets of Stockholm. I had planned this day down to the minutes. At 2 p.m I was ready waiting with my camera even if the procession wasn't due until 5 p.m. At 4.30 my stomach started acting up and I had to leave my spot to find a bathroom. I found a new spot, not as good as the first one and it only left me with a window of about 2 seconds of a clear view of the married couple. But that't not all: for some reason I still can't understand, I started to fiddle around with my camera not noticing the crowd going mad as the procession closed in. It was too late when I realized I had switched my lens in to manual focus mode and out of the 7 shots on the royal wagon, one came out less blurry. I still cannot forgive my stomach for acting up or myself for playing around with my lens...
Anyhoo, here's the clearest shot of Prince Daniel and behind him Princess Victoria.
